One of the world’s largest insurance companies, AXA is in an ironic situation at the moment, to say the least. Just days after announcing that it will stop supporting companies that are victims of ransomware attacks, it has found itself the target of malicious software that has blocked access to its servers and demands a payment to release them – in other words, ransomware.
